Acasa, My Home

Acasa, My Home

directed by

Radu Ciorniciuc

"Acasa, My Home" tells the story of a family that has lived for 20 years in the wilderness of the Văcărești Delta, until the place became a protected area – Parcul Natural Văcărești – the first urban natural park in Romania. For four years, director Radu Ciorniciuc followed the great adventure of the Enache family: from a life in harmony with nature, to the living full of challenges in the great urban jungle of Bucharest. As the family members struggle to abide the rules of a modern civilisation, trying to also keep their link with the nature and the harmony among them, questions about their place in the world and about everybody's future arise.
